Principal.  I have successfully operated a geological consulting business specializing in gas and oil exploration and reserve reporting in the Appalachian basin. Areas of expertise include exploration mapping/prospect generation, seismic interpretation, reservoir geology, geophysical log interpretation, production rate decline curve/economic analysis, and oil and gas property appraisal. I have extensive experience in regional exploration mapping and prospect generation for various clastic and carbonate reservoirs in the Appalachian basin which has resulted in several hydrocarbon discoveries. My geological experience also includes mapping and analysis of Devonian Shale reservoirs in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia, 2d seismic interpretation exploring for Ordovician and Cambrian reservoirs in eastern Kentucky, reservoir characterization of a carbonate gas reservoir for conversion to gas storage, evaluation of various oil and gas prospects, evaluation of oil and gas company assets for acquisition bid, reservoir analysis for enhanced oil recovery, well site geology, evaluation of potential CBM prospects, and coal reserve appraisals.  I have prepared numerous oil and gas reserve reports for acquisitions, divestitures, bank financing, and estate appraisals.

Geologist. Managed a regional exploration mapping program of eastern Kentucky. Concentrated primarily on the Mississippian Newman “Big Lime” reservoirs. Worked as well site geologist and performed gas well testing services for various clients. Generated gas, oil, and coal reserve estimates and reserve appraisals for various public and private companies.
